SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Ready to publish with Black Rose Writing?

Please read the complete instructions below prior to submitting your work.

• Submissions should be sent via our online submission form only. Start by reading the rest of our instructions, then click on the button to the right or below. (Only current Black Rose Writing authors may submit by email directly.)

• The query response time is typically within 3 weeks. If your submission is accepted, your manuscript will be requested via email (file formats accepted are .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX).

• Please submit only one title at a time. Do not submit simultaneous projects by the same author.

• We do not return material for mailed submissions. Thank you for understanding our efforts to stay green and eliminate paper waste.

• If you are submitting a children’s book, it must have illustrations or an illustrator with a portfolio already assigned to the project.

• Remember, spellcheck is important, but if you want a publisher to be impressed by your submission, we suggest working with one of our recommended development editors. CLICK HERE for our Approved Editors’ list.
