Dr. Alexander Korman, a Los Angeles critical care physician turned social media personality, receives an urgent request to meet with his former mentor, Dr. Max Fischer. When Max is killed right before his eyes, Alex becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth behind his mentor’s death.
Max was working on a revolutionary artificial intelligence system designed to transform and improve medical care, but when Alex is handed a coded message Max left for him, warning that the “fail-safe” feature built into the AI super-doctor might be compromised, he suspects Max’s death was no accident.
Alex goes from a suspect in his mentor’s death to a part-time sleuth. He’s afraid something sinister is going on. Moreover, he’s convinced it has its origins in the Covid Pandemic of 2020. As he trips over dead bodies and is seduced by the temptress, Vivica Lieu, he is consumed by the belief that there’s a conspiracy to turn the fail-safe AI-driven Patient Care Initiative into a killing machine. The question is, does he have what it takes to stop it?
