When it comes to middle-aged dating in the small, mountain town of Buena Vista, it's hard to catch a break—especially when an art heist, murder, and kidnapping spoil the mood.
Air Force veteran and Search & Rescue volunteer Tyler Zahn is on the outs with Chaffee County law enforcement—that's why he's supposed to keep his nose out of the recent theft of Remington oil paintings on a high-altitude pass in the Colorado Rockies.
But his new love interest is an artist… and the theft of her most famous work presents a challenge Zahn finds hard to resist. When he finds himself trapped by a wildfire at a mountain retreat art exhibit, Zahn has no choice. If he doesn't step forward and lead, people may die.
